Fair use rationale for Image:GuardiansSTAS.jpg

[edit]

Image:GuardiansSTAS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have added a fair use rational for the image. --William Graham talk 05:55, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The original Guardians of the Universe

[edit]

Should some mention be made of the original Guardians of the Universe that appeared Strange Adventures #22 (July 1952)? I am reading Secret Origins #23 and in the first letter section, Peter Sanderson (a comic book historian) mentions some of their history. A significant chunk of which does not appear in this article. And I just noticed that there isnt much of anything regarding what kind of publication history they have.--Rockfang (talk) 02:07, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar Fixup Needed!

[edit]

I wish somebody who is still following DC after the New 52 nonsense would go behind the people who edit comic-related articles with grammar worse than texters and give these articles some credibility again. As I no longer follow the storylines, I don't know what should go in there, yet I cannot rely on these articles to fill in the blanks because of the atrocious grammar! --Joe Sewell (talk) 17:29, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Skimming, fast-reading like Bill Clinton at 30,000 wpm it looked OK to me; does it look better now to you? (Oh, you are gone.) I'll look again later. Tonight, for my brith-month, my wife and I are going to see Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_(film) and that is why I am on this TALK page. I'll read the background there first. -- Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 00:05, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ben Gurion

A better source for the fact that the Guardians look like Ben-Gurion is here - https://www.newsfromme.com/pov/col234/ - Beardo (talk) 14:51, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
