I thought it should be important to note, that there was actually another Dollmaker that was an enemy of Plastic Man. He was the first most likely. I don't know what comic but if anyone gets any info on him it would be a great addition to this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.179.156.173 (talk) 01:07, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should Dollhouse be added?

[edit]

For those who are unaware of who Dollhouse is, she is the daughter of the Barton Mathis Dollmaker who (after Barton Mathis was defeated in Detective Comics vol. 2 #4) took up her father's cause and M.O., and adopted the name "Dollhouse." While she doesn't specifically call herself "Dollmaker," she is still a successor to the Barton Mathis Dollmaker. Should she be added to this list of Dollmakers? If so, should she have her own section like the other three characters OR should she be a subsection for Barton Mathis? Darkknight2149 (talk) 14:33, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A long period of time has passed and no one has opposed, or even responded to, my suggestion of adding Dollhouse to this list of characters (either as a subsection to "Barton Mathis" or as her own section in the "Fictional character biography"). I'm assuming since no one is responding, everyone is okay with me doing this? If not, then speak up please.Darkknight2149 (talk) 23:18, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Breaking "Barton Mathis" Into Subsections

[edit]

I broke "Barton Mathis" into subsections. This is meant to address the issue of it being excessively detailed. I didn't really remove much, so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to remove the "excessively detailed" template (I'd appreciate feedback from other editors on whether or not I should). By breaking the section up into subsections, I have attempted to make it easier to read and more digestible for Wikipedia readers. The material about Matilda Mathis becoming Dollhouse was removed pending a response to the previous discussion on this page.Darkknight2149 (talk) 23:12, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The dumb question

[edit]

At any point during the Gotham series is Feore's character referred to as "the Dollmaker"? If so, great. Do we have any references that connect the tv character to the comic book character? - Jack Sebastian (talk) 05:42, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The character is indeed called "the Dollmaker" in the series. In the second episode of the first season (titled "Selina Kyle"), he is called "the Dollmaker" twice. In Season 1 Episode 10 "Beast of Prey," he is mostly called by his real name until a character named Fish Mooney briefly refers to him as "Dollmaker."
