can "Woke Army; The Red-Green Alliance That Is Destroying America's Freedom" by Asra Nomani really be considered a reliable source for a WP:BLP topic? It is cited a few times throughout the article. — jonas (talk) 18:32, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disagreement with Joe Rogan - why not relevant?

[edit]

Not clear why this is WP:UNDUE from @[[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]. This back and forth was well covered and my edit discussed it from both sides. Propose edit instead of flat out delete? Helpingtoclarify (talk) 04:32, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Wealthy Turkish Muslim family"

[edit]

What is the source verifying that Cenk Uygur comes from a "wealthy Turkish Muslim family"? Apparently his father, Dogan, was a rural olive and grape farmer in Kilis, a city in southern Turkey near the Syrian border, who scraped through his childhood to earn a scholarship to attend a technical college in Istanbul. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 17:47, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

At 1 hr., 6 min., 58 sec. in this video ( YouTube link v=QJtPROVsePk ), Uygur says that, back home in Kilis (southern Turkey), his father had no money, his family was saddled with debt, had no electricity in his house, and was "as poor as poor gets." 98.123.38.211 (talk) 17:55, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
