Subspecies

Just noticed the revert - the IUCN red list does refer to A. h. hybridus and bruneus as different subspecies [1] and distinguishes between their habitats. Is there a more recent reference that lists 'A. h. hybridus and bruneus as synonyms?

The IUCN redlist entry is from the 2003 assessment. The 3rd edition of the Mammal Species of the World is from 2005, and it lists bruneus as a synonym. - UtherSRG (talk) 05:16, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
