Satwant Sandhu

Satwant Sandhu (died 7 February 2021) was an Indian politician.

She served as a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly for Chamkaur from 1977 to 1985 and 1997 to 2007 for the Shiromani Akali Dal.

From 2000 to 2002 she also served as Minister for Social Welfare and Public Health in the Government of Punjab under Parkash Singh Badal.[1]

Prior to her own election, her husband Ajaib Singh Sandhu, also represented the same constituency.[2]

Sandhu died from COVID-19, aged 80, in 2021.[3][4]
