Md Ziaul Hoque OSP, afwc ndc, psc is a two-star admiral in Bangladesh Navy. He is the incumbent director general of the Bangladesh Coast Guard.[1] Prior to this appointment, he served Senior Directing Staff (Navy) at National Defence College.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Hoque joined Bangladesh Navy in January 1989 in executive branch after completing his education from Sylhet Cadet College.
Military career
[edit]Hoque served as managing director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation while he was Commodore.[3] On 29 September 2024, he appointed as Director General of Coast Guard under the ministry of Home Affairs.[4]
