Joseph A. Ryan (born c. 1970) is a United States Army major general who served as the assistant deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and training from 2023 to 2024.[1] He most recently served as the commanding general of the 25th Infantry Division from 2021 to 2023.[2][3]
In July 2024, Ryan was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and training.[4][5]
