J. T. Thatcher (born July 12, 1978) is an American former college football player who was a defensive back for the Oklahoma Sooners. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,[1] he attended Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma.[2] He was named a consensus All-American in 2000.[3][4] Thatcher won the Mosi Tatupu Award in 2000.[5] He was also a member of the Oakland Raiders.[6][7]
