Categories

[edit]

@Trailblazer101, there appears to be nothing wrong with the categories. We don't know if this American animated film would be influenced by anime, where or when the film would be set, or if the film would be released in 3D. What are we going to do with the categories? The Media Expert (talk) 19:58, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We don't need to add every potential category that may be applicable here until we know for certain that is is actually supported by the contents in the article. Please see WP:CATV for more on this, as every category needs to be supported by reliable sources in the article, not just added in because it was relevant to a prior film. As I have told you before, there is absolutely WP:NORUSH in adding anything here when there is nothing new to support such information. There has been no mention of anime influences, no mention of a 3D release (which Across didn't even have), or no mention of the setting. Please, stop adding material that is not verifiable and please just be patient. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:01, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Social media edits

[edit]

@Trailblazer101, I noticed some reverted edits that included social media such as X. We already know that all social media websites are unreliable sources. Could @User:FilmmakingFanDude be blocked from adding the social media? The Media Expert (talk) 11:39, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is not something to discuss here and is not something for me to decide. Please stop making new discussions towards me on these drafts regarding any random thing you have a question for, as this is WP:NOTAFORUM and that comment is really not helpful or about improving this draft (which is what talk pages are to be used for). I'm not gonna re-add it chill I didn't realize FilmmakingFanDude (talk) 17:38, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

CBR source

[edit]

@Trailblazer101, I found the CBR source with the delayed section. It said "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is set to pick up where Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse left off as Miles Morales/Spider-Man embarks on an interdimensional quest to alter the destinities of his loved ones while forging his own Spider-Man identity. The film's cast includes Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld as Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. The film is directed by the team of Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson with a screenplay by Dave Callaham, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller." Could you add more info from this source?[1] The Media Expert (talk) 11:14, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is not official confirmation of those involvements' and I have not seen that logline premise before, so I do not believe we can use that at this time. Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:43, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Animation has clearly begun

[edit]

According to Variety [1], producer Christopher Miller has stated that "Nothing has been scrapped. The reels are coming along nicely." If reels are coming along nicely then animation is clearly under way, and this draft should be moved to mainspace. Rlendog (talk) 18:23, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Miller did not specify what types of reels those are, and we know they have been working on some concept and visual art, per sources already in this article. To say final animation has begun (which is the requirement to move animated films, alongside voice recording per WP:NFF) would be WP:SYNTHESIS, and of course someone involved in a film would quell any concerns about it and give a positive statement about it. There is, again, WP:NORUSH to move this draft to the mainspace. Trailblazer101 (talk) 18:32, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
