From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Simple Solution Computing Inc. is an American information technology (IT) company based out of San Jose, California. It is recognized as one of the oldest managed service providers (MSP) in California. The Simple Solution is best known for providing MSP contracts, large network cabling, and data security services to Silicon Valley and overseas businesses.

In the 1980's Founder and President Sigi J. Valencia developed a fascination in Novell, one of the earliest server operating systems in existence. Initially he had contacted local venture capital investment firms looking for 10 million dollars in seed money to grow the business nationwide. However, most did not realize the value of a company focused solely on delivering professional services and networking hardware, as opposed to creating and selling tangible consumer products. Sigi recognized the opportunity to innovate and The Simple Solution was trademarked shortly after on June 19th, 1989.

Since 1986 The Simple Solution has held certifications including Novell Gold Partner, Microsoft MCSP, Citrix, and Cisco while also being authorized resellers of Novell, Kenwood, and Microsoft products.

The company first started operating out of Heritage Village Office and Business Suites in Campbell, California from 1987 to 1989. From there The Simple Solution Computing Inc. moved operations to Suites 8-11 at 2175 Stone Ave.

Due to the success of the company leading up to the dot-com bubble, The Simple Solution expanded once again to an 8000 square foot commercial office space at 1052 N 5th St San Jose, CA 95112 in 1994.

The space was used to host demonstrations of networking services and products directly to potential customers. Fully catered in collaboration with local businesses to provide a space for anyone interested in simplifying the learning process of adopting new technology.

In 2011 CEO Sigi J. Valencia purchased the neighboring commercial space, expanding to a 16,000 square foot networking operation to further develop the C-7 low voltage division of the business.
