Mickey Andre Duzyj (born March 18, 1982) is an American film maker, director and artist. He has won three Emmy nominations in his career, as well as being named one of Variety Magazine's "Top 10 Documentary Filmmakers to Watch" for 2019. He also won the award for best short Documentary at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in 2016. His work has been featured on/at notable places like Netflix, Tribeca film Festival 2024, ESPN's series 30 for 30, The New York Times magazine, and Sundance Film Festival 2016.


Early Life

Duzyj started to draw when he was young, and fell in love with it. In high school, he won the National Scholastic art competition, which the award was presented in Washington D.C. After high school, he attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City. He made what he loved his career, and started making films and making drawings to incorporate into these films.
