Marianne Cronin (born 1990) is an author. She began her career as an academic and comedian before publishing her debut novel The One Hundred Years of Lenin and Margot (2021).

Early life

Cronin grew up in Warwickshire. Her atheist parents enrolled her in Catholic school to appease her Irish Catholic grandparents.[1] Cronin completed a PhD at the University of Birmingham.

Career

In 2019, Doubleday pre-empted the rights to Cronin's debut novel.[2]
