Anirudha Uttam Seolekar
[edit]Anirudha Uttam Seolekar also known as Anil amongst friends. Born into a middle class family on 10.08.1960 in Aurangabad Maharashtra[1] His father was a teacher working for the State Government and became the founder Director of Bal Bharati. His mother started a home poultry and later was a partner in Poona Pearls a Hatchery. Anirudha was the only son to Parents beside one sister who is a doctor. At age 3 he moved to Pune and went to school in Pune [2]
Early Life and Education
[edit]He was brought up by working parents initially and spent certain periods in boarding school at Bishops School Pune [3] He schooled at Bishops School Pune and passed ICSE with distinction. Anirhuda boarding school was a boom at age 9-11, due to father’s early demise ( age 12 ) was brought up by his mother, a single parent in crucial years of growing up.
He attained ICSE from Bishops school, He completed class 13 from Wadia Commerce College Pune and was an external student from Pune University. He also completed Bachelor of Commerce. Anirhuda completed a OPM ( Owner Presidents Management ) course in 2013 from Harvard Business School [4] ( 3 year OPM program)
Career
[edit]Anirhuda has been working since age 16:17 mid junior college time as salesman, then an entrepreneur journey in transport business, post that again a working stint as a salesman selling livestock & medicinal OTC products. His journey was from age 17-20. At 21 -24 he was promoted as sales manager for north India for selling poultry chicks.
Age 24 - 29 he ventured to do multiple trading business in an entrepreneur capacity in Delhi and then in mumbai. He also traded in medical equipment and a hand at export import & also a distribution line in medicinal products sales and distribution in Mumbai [5]. At age 30 he moved to Pune and ventured into real estate in Pune. First project launched. He then futher went into real estate and further developed hospitality.
He has developed Brand, Oxford as the real estate wing and Brand then The O for the hospitality brand. He currently Partnered with Godrej Properties [6] and Purvankara Ltd and developing over 10 million Sq feet of real estate to be completed by 2028/29 in partnership.
Also currently he is involved and a partner, in Developing a 1100 acre integrated township in Pune called “ Oxford Valley - Oxford Golf Resort [7] “ a championship award winning golf course and club with a buildable floor index of 40 million Sq feet over next few generations.
The O Hotels, the hospitality brand has an inventory of 124 rooms in Pune & 81 rooms in Goa. Both five star hotels. He is now the group Chairman of all companies.
Have had an active social life in philanthropy and social work. Created and adopted a plan and executed it for a village development. Engaging villagers to upgrade thru training and village management. Have served as a Captain of Poona Club[8] a prominent premier club of the city for 4 years ,and as President of the Poona Club for 2 years and has been at helm of the club for its successful development. The Oxford Golf Resort is amongst the Top rated award winning marque property of the Group. Have been nominated for the Asian Golf Hall of Fame [1] [9] [10]2024 by the Asia Pacific Golf Association [11]
