The 2025 MPBL season is the upcoming seventh season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and its fourth under professional status.

League business

Potential contraction

The Manila Batang Sampaloc are reportedly considering departing the league following their loss against the Caloocan Batang Kankaloo in game 1 of last season's division quarterfinals. This came after the team attempted to appeal a one-game suspension that was handed to center Greg Slaughter, who recorded two unsportsmanlike fouls during the game, but was denied by the league.^[1] An official decision has yet to be made.^[2]
