From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some mammal bites may be vectors for the zoonotic virus rabies. See Rabies#Transmission for a list of animals known to transmit rabies. Without immediate treatment, rabies has a 100 percent human fatality rate.

See Category:Chiroptera-borne diseases for other human diseases transmitted by the flying mammals called bats.

Navigation tip: Cetaceans including orcas are ungulates. Pinnipeds including walruses are carnivorans.
