Battle of Madarpur was fought between a small army of Kanyakubja Brahmin brothers Maharaja Kam Dev Misir, Dhām Dév Singh Misir and Vikram Pratap misir and Babur's Mughal commander Mir Baqi in 1528. The Mughals Army faced heavy casualties; the survivors migrated to other places in present-day Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
