Alessio Besio (born 18 March 2004) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a forward for German club SC Freiburg II. He was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation" list for 2021.[1]

Club career

On 30 May 2023, Besio agreed to join SC Freiburg II on a free transfer on 1 July 2023 following the end of his contract with St. Gallen.[2]

Besio is the son of former professional footballer Claudio Besio.
