Pogoń Szczecin are the defending champions, having won their first title in the 2023–24 season.[1]

The schedule for the first half of the 2024–25 season has been announced on 17 July 2024. 11 matchdays are to be played in 2024, with the first matchday announced for 11 August 2024. Some first matchday bouts ended up being rescheduled to 10 August 2024.[2][3][4]

Tiebreakers for league ranking

[edit]

The following criteria are applied to determine the order of the teams in all rounds of the league:[5]

  1. The total number of points;
  2. Number of points earned in head-to-head matches;
  3. Goal difference in head-to-head matches;
  4. Goal difference in all league matches;
  5. Number of wins in all league matches;
  6. Number of away wins in all league matches;
  7. Lower number of yellow cards in all league matches;

If two or more teams are still equal after all the above criteria, the order is determined by a draw.
