Userboxes

[edit]

If you want to add user boxes to your user page, you have to find the right one, but you include them like a template. For instance, you might add "{{User en-4}}" to your user page, and it should work. Try it out. By the way, if you want to ask a question, it's probably better to ask at the Wikipedia:Help_desk, or pick a user you want to ask and ask them on their talk page (mine, for instance, is User talk:Mangojuice, and feel free to ask me questions!) License tagging for Image:GreekPeakLogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GreekPeakLogo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:GreekPeakLogo.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:GreekPeakLogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Food vs fuel

[edit]

Hi there. I did notice you made recently some edits on the article regarding the leaked World Bank report. The report was officially release on June 28, and I already did an edit under the section "The 2008 controversy: Global food prices", where you will find a link to the pdf report. This release made the leading of the section you edited outdated, so I tagged as such. Feel free to drop by and correct that text, though I have serious doubts it belongs to the inflation section. This report, together with the Oxfam report I included in the references has plenty of info to work on several sections of the article. See you there.--Mariordo (talk) 04:26, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
