The talk template still suggest the article is 'based on' Shetlopedia. Ben MacDui (Talk) 17:25, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But the articles are based on Shetlopedia. In fact in most cases they are an exact copy of Shetlopedia, and nothing else. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.129.111.126 (talk) 11:08, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

You seem to be on a crusade, here Lurker (said · done) 11:40, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just don't think Wikipedia should be copying articles in full from other websites. Doing this just wipes out the other websites in the search engines. And the way you've set it up, it looks like you've copied some text from another website, but in reality you've copied a complete page from that website. Google doesn't like duplicate pages, so they are likely to remove Shetlopedia from their searches where Wikipedia have copied the page text in full. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.129.111.126 (talk) 11:59, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

I started a discussion about Shetlopedia copyright at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Shetlopedia. Mushroom (Talk) 17:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
