Why is Bangladesh painted in the darkest colour (1000>) when the list of all countries' population densities claims it has a density of 985 ppl/km2? - Gothenburg, 18:08, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

the figures have probably been updated since the map was made --Astrokey44 14:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

four shades of poo?

[edit]

can we make the colours a whole lot colour full. bla.sa..da..woo..yo.? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tejas81 (talkcontribs) 15:40, 12 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

sure, what do you suggest? --Astrokey44 14:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ROYGBIV might be a good start. Having five shades of violet is not a good idea for a map. Ayengar 14:47, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alaska

[edit]

They should treat Alaska as a seperate region, it is in no way connected to the US "mainland" and I'm sure it is less densely populated than the rest of the US. Mallerd 17:35, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the map is ok, but it would be much more informative to have different regions in shades, and major cities, though probably this is not easy. For example, in the US, NY is densely populated, some Alabama county may not be. I am in Barcelona, Spain, which is full of people and I am surprised to see relatively low population density. Cheers. --Ben T/C 13:18, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

shouldn't the map show that it's talking about km^2?

also I agree with mallerd.

recolor the map?

[edit]

I'm requesting that this map be recolored. Right now there are 1 yellow, 2 green, 1 blue, and 5 purple colors. This makes the map very hard to read. Let's convert to 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 blue, 2 purple, and one red. --— robbie page talk 15:25, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

The diagram dates back to 2006. Please update to 2012 at least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.98.231.154 (talk) 20:48, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Australia's population density is 3.1 people per square kilometre

[edit]

Therefore it should be green, not yellow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.183.87.78 (talk) 06:48, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
