What's it called?

[edit]

The stone above the front door is clearly engraved with "1914" and "W.U.D.C.", so presumably this is when it was built by Westhoughton Urban District Council? I have also seen it referred to as "Syndale Water Tower". But is it on Snydle Hill or on Hunger Hill? Apparently, in the 1930s, trams used to run on this road between Bolton and Westhoughton - see this Facbook page. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:14, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Have you considered Westhoughton Urban District Council? If it's in Westhoughton it seems obvious to me.--J3Mrs (talk) 20:38, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, obviously I've considered it, haha. But which hill is it? Martinevans123 (talk)
You wrote Wigan in the article.--J3Mrs (talk) 20:46, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, you're joking? Nothing escapes you, does it. If only the rest of us were perfect, sigh. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:48, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
