Description

c/n reported as 31007 NATO codename:- Feather The Yak-15 was essentially a Yak-3 airframe fitted with a copy of the Junkers Jumo 004 jet engine. It was one of only two aircraft types ever to be successfully converted from piston to jet power, the other being the Saab J-21, This is the only known survivor of the 280 built. On display at the Vadim Zadorozhny Technical Museum, Arkhangelskoye, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
