Summary

Description
English: Halfway between Stratford and Taumarunui is the settlement of Whangamomona. There isn't much there these days, but the hotel was rather good. Nice potato wedges, nice locals, and over 100 years worth of rugby team photos up on the walls. New Zealand Historic Places Trust Category II; register number 927.
