Object history
Deutsch: In der heraldischen Lilie, Symbol des Regensburger Klosters St. Emmeram, kommt zum Ausdruck, dass Gleiritsch schon 1031 erstmals in einem Güterverzeichnis des Klosters nachweisbar ist. Die eingeschweifte silberne Spitze in Rot erinnert an die Herren von Plassenberg, die von Mitte des 16. bis Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts Besitzer der Hofmark Gleiritsch waren. Die Reuthauen, eine für den Familiennamen sprechende heraldische Figur, sind in veränderten Farben vom Wappen der Grafen von Kreuth (Kreith) übernommen, zu deren Besitzkomplex das Gut Gleiritsch von 1688 bis in das 20. Jahrhundert gehörte.
