Description
English: This is Robonaut B, the newer of two NASA robots used in recent hand-in-hand testing at the Johnson Space Center with human beings to evaluate their shared ability to perform certain types of extravehicular activity. In late 2003 Robonaut Unit B was retrofitted with a mobile platform. This new base, called the Robonaut Mobility Platform (RMP), adds an entirely new capability to the functionality of Unit B.
