Summary

Description
English: Arms of Lucas / FitzLucas (Argent, a fesse between six annulets gules) quartering Morieux (Gules, a bend argent billetty sable alternatively: 'Gules, on a bend argent seven billets sable) (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.706 "Thomas Morieux, Sheriff of Norfolk 1354") with a crescent sable overall for difference. These arms are visible in St Nicholas's Church, Little Saxham, Suffolk. Thomas Lucas (d.1531) of Little Saxham Hall was Solicitor General to King Henry VII & King Henry VIII. Also arms of Henry Lucas (d.1663), MP and also of Baron Lucas of Shenfield.
