Summary

Description
English: Nichols lived in the first brick house in Los Angeles, and his son was the first American child born in the city. The first Los Angeles infirmary was opened by the Sisters of Charity and the second schoolhouse was erected. Period marked by a wave of lawlessness and vigilante operations.
