Summary

Description
English: Hogback ridges are a prevalent geologic feature where the plains of eastern Colorado meet the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. These ridges mark the beginning of the foothills southwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. The distant ridge to the left is the Dakota Hogback. The ridges in the center are sandstones of the Lyons and Ingleside formations.
