Description
English: 1911. A giraffe mannequin, before the skin was put on, is being assembled in the taxidermy shop of the new United States National Museum, now known as the National Museum of Natural History. The animal was one of the many specimens collected on the Smithsonian-Roosevelt Expedition (1909-1910).
