Author and date of image unknown, other than image date some time between 1922 and 1935, most likely in the earlier part of this time span.

The source 'Haze Grey and Underway' 'World Aircraft Carrier Lists' (http://www.hazegray.org/navhist/carriers/) states that images not otherwise identified are assumed to be of government origin and in the public domain. No attribution is attached to the image uploaded from http://www.hazegray.org/navhist/carriers/images/europe/dedalo-1.jpg ; the image is therefore assumed to be in the public domain and available for fair use illustration of an historic artefact.
