Deutsch: Über dem Rathauseingang in Nackenheim befindet sich ein Wappenstein, der von dem vorliegenden Wappen in folgenden Einzelheiten abweicht: Statt des Kreuzes ziert ein Haken mit spitzem Winkel den Reichsapfel und das Rad ist achtspeichig. Brilmayer, Rheinhessen, 1905 S. 320 lässt die Leiste fort, zeichnet ein achtspeichiges Rad und beseitet den in der Zeichnung umgekehrten Haken mit der Jahreszahl 1612, wobei er sich auf den zuvor erwähnten Wappenstein als Vorlage beruft. Der Schild ist von Rot und Silber geteilt, mit verwechselter Tinktur der Figuren. Demandt-Rekhoff, Hessisches Ortswappenbuch, 1956 S. 120 (Abbildung) bzw. S. 124 f. (Beschreibung) ändern sich die Feldfarben in Schwarz und Rot und zeichnen den Reichsapfel in Gold. Unter Berufung auf Siegelvorlagen bekommt dieser ein Kreuz.
