Summary

Description
English: This true-color image of Typhoon Bualoi in the middle of the Western Pacific Ocean was captured on the evening of October 22, 2019, by the Advanced Himawari Imager (AHI) instrument flying aboard JMA's Himawari 8 satellite. At the time this was captured Bualoi was peaking in intensity as a Category 5 equivalent typhoon with winds of 260 kilometers per hour (160 miles per hour) (140 knots) on the 1-min Saffir-Simpson scale, while on the JMA typhoon scale it was peaking as a "very strong typhoon" with 10-min wind speeds of 185 kilometers per hour (115 miles per hour) (100 knots).
