Summary
Water-colour of Bellamkonda Fort by C. Ignatio (fl. 1816-1819), 21st August 1816 from an earlier sketch by Colin MacKenzie (1754-1821) in September 1788. Inscribed on the front in ink is: 'East View of Bellumconda, September 1788. Copied by C. Ignatio, 21st Augt, 1816, from a Sketch by C. Mackenzie, 1788.'
The fort was built by the Reddy kings of Kondavidu in the 14th century.
