English: 0-6-0 Diesel Locomotive "Dick Hardy"
Brighton Station. An 0-6-0 Diesel Locomotive in Inter City colours named "Dick Hardy" in honour of a Stratford Shed Master" of an L.B.S.C. Rly. This little locomotive looked like it was scheduled to head a long train, however it was only the local station shunter (switcher) for the day, the train awaiting a more powerful Diesel Electric locomotive on the other end. I can only date this picture to "some time in the early 1990's.
